Doubt Your Beliefs? Have Questions About Changing Or Leaving Your Faith?

You Are Not Alone, And We Are Here To Help.

Learning how to live after questions, doubts, and changing beliefs is a journey. We at Recovering from Religion are intimately familiar with this path, and we are here to help you to cross that bridge. Our passion is connecting others with support, resources, community, and most of all, hope. We have two forms of support available below: peer support and professional support.

Official Statement Regarding the Overturning of Roe v. Wade

Our leadership and volunteers have a unique understanding of how much religion can cause harm, and we are collectively heartbroken and afraid for our clients, ourselves, and the many others that will be directly harmed by the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

It has always been the mission of Recovering from Religion to provide hope, healing, and support to people who are suffering from religious trauma or coping with oppressive religious systems and ideas. Upholding this mission is a great privilege for each of us. It is our intention to embrace the needs of those who may call upon us for guidance in regards to finding safe abortion options, safe mental health resources, and safe peer support.

We believe that bodily autonomy is sacrosanct, that people deserve kind and compassionate healthcare, and that theology should have no bearing on legislation.

If you need to talk to someone about this, reach out by chat or phone. Or visit our resources page for links to valuable information related to abortion.
